Quotes for Traveling Alone:
Before sharing the quotes for traveling alone, I’ll share a story. I was 17 when I traveled to Europe for the first time. My grandma took my cousin and me on a coach tour that went to Rome, Florence, Venice, Lucerne, Paris and London. I was hooked. I had done some traveling with my family before this, but this was my first time visiting a whole new continent. I DREAMED of going back and seeing more.
I got it into my head that if I could just make it back to Europe and do a three month backpacking trip across the continent, my travel desire would be filled and my heart would be content. (Or so I thought.) So I needed to save all my pennies to make my dream trip happen. I decided that one way to help inspire me to save as much as possible was to tape a bunch of pictures to my wallet of all the places I wanted to go. I also threw a few inspirational travel quotes on there as well for good measure. I kept these pictures taped to my wallet for YEARS. When they would start to fade or wear out I’d print a new batch along with some more inspirational quotes and tape them on all over again.
Becoming a flight attendant allowed my travel dreams to come true. I’m grateful for that every day! It’s been more than a decade since I’ve had a wallet covered in travel photos. But if I DID still have travel pictures or inspirational quotes taped to my wallet, here’s a few of the quotes I’d be choosing from.
